Not that nothing happened after it. It's kind of like indiana jones/bond movies. The all feature the same character/s going through events that happen in a timeline, but each is it's own story arc.
Anything that happens after the halo 3 ending is a new story arc (with possible tie ins to marathon). It would feature the same main character/s (if you include cortana), but it probably wouldn't involve the flood or the covenant (unless they decided to merge the series together afte...
This article pretty much says why FF is so popular. Each game keeps the same core gameplay, but each one is an entirely different game than any of the others. That's definately one of the reasons I always loved FFs, there weren't entirely unfamiliar, but they were all completely different.
Is it about middle between sixaxis and 360's? just curious how much meatier it actually is.
The flimsiness in the sixaxis was easily my biggest issue with it. My cell phone feels more durable than it does.
The halo story arc is over. Bungie has said this publicly.
I would expect many other games taking place in the halo universe, but this story arc is finished.
It's likely MC will see a new story arc taking place after the halo series so far (maybe marathon tie in?), and even more likely they might make a more large scale frontlines shooter than another spec ops behind enemy lines type thing.
Why didn't you even log on once in a whole year while you were away? You have at least 3 more than a month long breaks in school while you're there, and it just seems a little bit odd.
I would say you should call during american business hours, then ask to be transferred, because they are MUCH more helpful.
It does suck, but you could always use one profile for offline saves (the one you have), and one for playing online. The only real problem with that is gamers...
It probably lost a lot of points just because it's prologue. Personally, I would rate any game that is pretty much a beta version of a future game but sold as its own game lower just on principle.
You can keep telling me that bull about prologues being a "love letter to the fans," but that is a load of crap. It's just a way to sell the same product twice, and the worst part is people will buy it twice.
I wouldn't expect this to have a huge selling effect. The actual game will probably move titles by the tons unless forza3 comes out and looks 3/4s as good with the added physics/damage.
I don't think anybody really anticipated Sony paying so much to win the studios, and expected the studios to actually pick the format based on features and benefits.
a small section was packed to the point of needing a line, and it still didn't sell out?
You must be kidding yourself if you think they aren't working their ass off to fix it.
Also, 360 doesn't "still" have the rrod issue. The launch ones still do, because they always did. New boxes don't. (some still do, but not nearly to the amount of the launch boxes.)
that is all.
If sony is downplaying it they're probably right?
Have you ever listened to anything any business has ever said ever?
Sony going from over 100 million consoles sold world wide to chasing third place is a real victory for them AMIRITE?!
Even if sony started shatting gold bricks and packaging them with the system, the PS3 is still going to be mediocre for them. Do you know how much you have to mess up to go from being almost synonymous with console gaming to being in third trying to make up consoles with a few thousand more sales a month and a 5 million console deficit?
Has nobody taken into account the 50 million is more than just paying for the content. M$ probably spent that much just for extra advertising of the DLC. You think if M$ signed a deal under the table for exclusive content anyone would care? Fack no, but when you hear they spent 50 mil, you start to think it might be something good.
Last gen M$ just had to get a foothold in the market. This gen they have to start taking a little market share from sony while expanding the market ...
Nevermind Too Human, Ninja Gaiden 2, or Supreme Commander.
Fact: any lineup looks awesome when you don't match it up against another lineup.
They released 3 GTAs on the GTA3 engine, and people never complained about that looking dated, at least not to a point where it hurt sales.
It's like building a house. Microsoft built the walls and the roof and now they're adding windows and new paint and all that jazz.
Sony built a wall, then bought a fountain to put in the yard, then bought some new bay windows. They're still missing 3 walls and a roof.
How do you figure? last time I checked they were still in last place.
I honestly wouldn't be incredibly surprised if M$ bought mozilla to make future IEs or just made it M$ firefox.
I think M$'s decline has more to do with stronger competitors entering the market than them losing face with the public.
Even if you don't finish the whole game, or do all the side missions, people will still buy DLC. Take oblivion, I finished the main quest, no side missions, and still bought 3 of the DLCs for it and played them all the way through.
You don't have to play a game to it's fullest to take advantage of DLC. In fact, the best DLC will allow you to take advantage of it without even taking into account how much of the original game you played.
